The Casselman Vikings are extremely pleased to announce today that Geoff Séguin will be taking over as Head Coach. Geoff has been part of our family for over 10 years in various capacities and brings a wealth of experience. He is well known and respected in the community for having been involved in various sporting events. Geoff has been working hard in the last couple of weeks to assemble a winning combination behind the bench.
We are also pleased to announce that Simon Ménard will be returning as an assistant coach. Simon had previously occupied the same role when the Vikings joined the EOJHL back in 2008. Brendan Doherty, who played 2 seasons with the Vikings, will return in a new role; he will become an assistant coach. Over the last 3 years, Brendan has been working as an assistant coach with various AAA organizations. The experience he gained will certainly be helpful in is role with the Vikings.
Please join me in congratulating Geoff on his nomination of Head Coach and welcoming back Simon and Brendan as assistants. I have no doubt that the Vikings ship will continue to sail towards the island of excellence and tradition.
